Radiology conferences for junior doctors and students

Free and low-cost radiology conferences to attend and/or present at for junior doctors or medical students

Conferences allow attendees to present their work and keep up to date with the latest research, as well as helping you to build your portfolio by demonstrating interest in Radiology.

There are several local (UK-based) and international Radiology conferences that happen annually, most of which encourage students and junior doctors to attend by offering free or subsidised registration.

  • CIRSE – Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe

    • Student programme available

    • Dedicated embolisation conference to learn about the latest advances in the field of embolisation and expand its indications

  • RIISE – Radiological Imaging & Intervention Symposium Edinburgh

    • UKs foremost event for medical students and foundation doctors interested or considering future careers in radiology and interventional radiology
    • Student-run project aiming to raise the profile of radiology careers
  • SRT – Society of Radiologists in Training Annual Educational Conference

    • Programme designed entirely with trainees in mind and speakers are invited based on their ability to provide engaging and enjoyable teaching to trainees
    • Strongly supported by the RCR, issues relevant to radiology trainees will also be discussed
